Feeling a bit vengeful this Valentine’s Day? Try this!

Everybody deals with breakups differently. Some people go on a retreat to find their inner peace, others go to Vegas to get wasted, others become serial daters…I’m no one to judge. The wise thing to do probably would be letting it go, move on and look fabulous (in case you run into him/her). But if you are not there yet, the El Paso Zoo is giving an uncommon remedy to mend your aching soul; name a cockroach after your ex and feed it to a meerkat live on camera!

You can message the Zoo on Facebook with your ex’s name and on February 14th, get your popcorn ready and tune in to watch the roach being devoured by a lovely meerkat. Listen, if that helps you to feel better, go ahead. That roach was going to get eaten anyways, the meerkats love them as a snack, and in all honesty, this is a better way of coping with anger than throwing eggs to your ex’s car; you it out of your chest, without committing a felony. A win-win if you ask me…

The initiative is called “Quit Bugging Me” and will live-stream on Facebook and the Zoo’s website. The Zoo calls it the perfect Valentine’s Day gift. Not sure about that, but certainly an original initiative…
